Ladies and Gentlemen, we would like to announce We Are not Freelancers' first competition.
We decided that we wanted to make this competition a little different to the other ones currently on the web. Usually you would expect us to ask you to give a reason why you should win these awesome prizes. But because we are different we decided it is time for all those who are stuck behind the computer screen to take a step outside!
We have created a little character in the shape of a UFO. What we want, is for you to showcase this UFO in a popular place. It can be anything from a sticker on a light switch in a club to a poster hanging from a traffic light! All we want to see is this UFO in the open.
Prizes will be awarded to the most creative or bravest applicants. So what do you get for all this effort?!
- 1st prize gets 500 Free business cards (courtesy of U Printing) and a Free We Are not Freelancers T-shirt.
- 2nd & 3rd Place each receive 250 Free B-Cards and a T-shirt.
- We are also going to award a Free T-Shirt to a random entrant.
To Enter simply follow these three easy steps:
- Download the UFO Template (Formats: PNG, AI, JPG & PSD).
- Stick it, post it or spray it anywhere & take a picture. Prizes are awarded for creativity and bravery.
- When you are satisfied, fill in the entry form and upload your pic!
The Closing date for entries is 10 September 2008. This competition is perfect for start ups who are bit short on cash.
Check out these links from U Printing to see what else they offer:
Good luck and we hope you enjoy it.
P.S Please help spread the word ;-)

@Matt - Unfortunately no one took part in the competition. I think it was a bit of a mission. I cant blame them!
We have decided from now on that if we want a successful competition that you need to keep it simple.

Damn, sorry Tony and I missed this. We only started browsing the internet for competitions the past few days. Although, we would have preferred the option of being allowed to put it into a photo digitally through editing etc, but seemed like a great idea and we are sorry nobody took part - good luck with future competitions!
